SAP DriversProviders

For DOT-qualified Substance Abuse Professionals

The drivers who need your evaluation are already here.

SAP Drivers is where CDL drivers go after a failed or refused DOT test: the carriers that hire them afterwards, the process step by step, and the SAP the rules require them to see first. That last part is you.

Your listing, as a driver sees it

You

Your name

Your practice · LPC, MAC, DOT-qualified SAP

Listed Virtual

Four or five sentences about who you are, how long you have done SAP work, and what a driver should expect from the first call. Drivers read this before they dial.

(555) 555-0100 Your city, your state · 3 more cities Book

Every driver on the site has to see a SAP before any carrier will talk to them.

  1. 1

A driver fails or refuses a DOT test

The FMCSA Clearinghouse marks them prohibited. No carrier can put them in a truck until a SAP has evaluated them and the return-to-duty test is negative.

  2. 2

They search for a SAP near them

By state and city, on this site. What they find is the listed SAPs in that state, with a phone number and, where a SAP has set it up, a booking button.

  3. 3

They finish, and go back to work

The same site lists the carriers that hire them afterwards, so drivers come back to it through the whole process, and to the SAP who saw them through it.

What a listing gives you

The listing is free and permanent. The tools are what the paid plans add; every one of them lives in the same dashboard.

A listing where drivers look

Name, credentials, practice, phone, cities, and whether you evaluate virtually — on your state page and your own profile. Drivers search by state and city and call from the page.

Online booking and scheduling

Mark the hours you take evaluations. A driver books a time instead of phoning to find out, and the appointment lands in your dashboard.

Paid straight to you

Evaluation and follow-up fees go to your own Stripe account. Nothing passes through us, and you set the price.

Your own website

A full site on your own address, built from what is already on your listing and edited in place. Nothing to design, nothing to host.

Follow-up testing plans

Write the §40.307 plan once, correctly, and deliver it to the employer. We hold and format your directions; we never set a test date, because a service agent may not (§40.355(g)).

Records

Evaluations, plans and reports kept for the retention period §40.333 requires, instead of a folder on a laptop.

Articles under your name

What the evaluation costs, how long it takes, what to expect — published under your byline and credentials, linked from your profile.

Driver leads

Drivers who tell us they need a SAP in your state, and agree to be contacted, are sent to the SAPs who claim that state.

Testing plans

$25/yr

Write a follow-up testing plan once, correctly, and deliver it to the employer. We format and hold your directions - we never set a test date.

Records

$25/yr

Evaluation records in one place, kept for the five years the rule requires. Export is always free, including after you cancel.

Claiming a state is your position on it. Reach is how many cities you appear in. They are separate, and most claimants hold both.

Claiming a state is capped by how many SAPs practise there; live counts are on each state page and in your dashboard.

Straight answers

Is the listing really free?
Yes. Free, permanent, no card, no trial. It shows your home city in your home state. The paid plans add reach, tools and placement; none of them is required to stay listed.
Who sees my listing?
Drivers in the return-to-duty process, searching by state and city. Your profile is also offered to Google once it has a written bio, so drivers who search your name or your city find you there too.
Do I have to be DOT-qualified?
Yes. Only SAPs qualified under 49 CFR Part 40 may be listed. You state that when you sign up, and every state page tells drivers to confirm it with you directly.
Does SAP Drivers take a cut of my fees?
No. Booking payments go to your own Stripe account. We never hold a driver's money and never take a percentage of an evaluation.
What if I already got an email from you?
Open the link in it. It creates the listing and the account in one step. This page is for SAPs we have not reached yet.
Can I cancel?
Any time, from the dashboard. The listing stays; the add-on stops renewing.

List your practice in five minutes.

Name, credentials, state, city, phone. A password. That is the whole form.
